Tutorial for bead embroidered bracelet "Cleopatra" July 18, 2018 19:04

I made another bead embroidery tutorial for a cuff bracelet "Cleopatra".

It is easy to follow step by step tutorial. Good for beginners also.

I incorporated beautiful color combination for summer: Turquoise and Gold.

I was fun to make Kits for this tutorial.

Beaders who want to try bead embroidery don't need to buy all different beads and Swarovski. They can just get a Kit which includes all beads needed for this project. No need to buy a hole pack of beads, if they need just a few.

I am very pleased with the results on this tutorial.

I always wanted to make beaded eggs for Easter, but didn't know where to start.

After a lot of research I picked a way for me to try.

I figured out the right way to do it and I love it.

Here are some of my eggs I have made.

BOTB 2016 July 01, 2016 19:29 1 Comment

This is my second year of participating in the Battle of the Beadsmith competition.

For this year I wanted to design a jewelry set of my favorite colors. The color pallet I found on the Pinterest and just fell in love with it.

Here I want to show my creation process on the necklace "Blue Lagoon".

Some of my supplies I was working with

I started with drawing a pattern on the paper and then I transferred it on the stiff felt.

Then I glued cabochons and beaded around them.

Battle Of The Beadsmith 2016 April 17, 2016 15:23

On April 1 2016 I and other 255 beading artists from all over the world started a "tournament" Battle Of The Beadsmith to determine which piece of bead work will win.

This is my second year of participating in B.O.T.B.

I'm not allowed to post any pictures of my design before June 11.

I will post the creation process after I'm done with the competition.

For this year of battle I got my inspiration from this color combination.

I just love the colors.

It will be a necklace and maybe a bracelet.

Bead embroidered necklace "Spring Blossom" February 14, 2016 21:23

I want to show my creation process of the beaded necklace "Spring Blossom".

My inspiration was this beautiful color palette which I found on the Pinterest.

I always wanted to create a necklace with the soft pastel colors.

The first step was to find beads close to these colors.

I went to my local bead store, where I got some of the beads. The rest I ordered from the online stores.

This was my selection of beads and stones I wanted to use in my project. I didn't use all of them.

First, I started with the center element in which I used beautiful Rose Quartz cabochons.

I was very pleased with the result.

Next, I decided to make a flower.

I went to the Internet for the help with the pattern. After a long time of searching, I found a pattern I wanted to try. I have never done this kind of flower before, so it took me a couple of attempts to get it right.

I started to connect the petals to the rilvoli in the center. After connecting four of them I realized that the last one doesn't fit. What a bummer :(

I had to tear everything apart and start the petals again ( another 3-4 hours of work).

Then I decided to connect them together first and then to the center part.

The next couple of elements were easier to make.

This was my layout.

Next step: connect everything together.

This part was always hard for me. I was putting it aside for some time. It took me about 3 hours to connect the elements. It was challenging to adjust everything.

But the result was beautiful.

This is how my necklace "Spring Blossom" was born :)

Thanks for the help with the name from my Facebook group "Creative Bead Chat".

I hope you enjoyed watching my process.

I sure did enjoy my time making it.

It took me 28 hours to make the necklace ( I am not counting the time I spent to learn how to make flower).
